About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Welcome to Fishers of Men, a vibrant Pentecostal church that has been a cornerstone of the Stone Mountain community for the past ten years. Our mission is to serve and uplift those around us, exemplified by our annual back-to-school drive, which provides students with essential bookbags school supplies through our partnership with Helping All People Evolve (H.A.P.E.). We also offer a summer program focused on core academics and career placement activities in fields such as cosmetology, agriculture, and education.

At Fishers of Men, we believe in nurturing the talents of our youth through our children and youth choir dance team, fostering creativity and expression in a supportive environment. Additionally, we host Women and Men Teas, along with leadership development and discipleship classes, to empower our congregation and cultivate strong leaders in our community. Join us as we continue to grow together in faith and service!

Our Story

At Fishers of Men, under the auspices of Uplifting Faith Ministries, our beliefs are deeply rooted in the core tenets of Christianity. We hold steadfast to the belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of our faith. We also embrace the in-filling of the Holy Spirit and the importance of baptism in the name of Jesus as essential steps in our spiritual journey. We recognize the significance of the five-fold ministry gifts and strive to establish them within our church community, fostering growth and unity. Our commitment extends beyond the church walls as we actively serve the homeless, the sick, and the shut-in, providing comfort through hospital visits and nursing home prayers for healing. At Fishers of Men, we are dedicated to living out our faith through service and compassion.
